But that's not all; prepare to be mesmerized by a mesmerizing "Pulluvan Paatu" performance, a traditional folk song rendered by the talented members of the Pulluva Community.
Our next destination is Mankav Kalam, Pallasena, where you'll witness a captivating demonstration of traditional palm mat weaving, led by the skilled Rukmini chechi. As you delve into the local culture, savor a delectable lunch prepared with love. Take a leisurely stroll through the paddy fields, surrounded by the majestic Nelliyampathy Hills, truly immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the region.
Next, we venture to Kottamala, a serene hillock shrine, where a mesmerizing performance of "Kanyarkali" awaits. This prominent folklore performance is unique to the Eastern Palakkad region, and its vibrant energy will captivate your senses. Continuing our exploration, we head to Pallasena for an unforgettable Toddy Tapping Experience. Learn about this traditional beverage made from the sap of coconut and palm trees, and delight in the opportunity to savor its unique flavor.
As the day winds down, we arrive at Palliyil Tharavadu, a majestic ancestral home steeped in history. This architectural marvel, over a century old, showcases the traditional Kerala style known as "Naalu Kettu." Day 02:
Begin the day with a satisfying breakfast at your accommodation, filling you with energy for the day's adventures. Our first destination is the Agraharam, an ancient Tamil Brahmin settlement. Here, prepare to indulge in a delightful food-tasting session featuring traditional dishes like "Koodai Idly," "Mankal Dosai," "Korada," and more, all deeply rooted in the indigenous culinary heritage of the community. From there, we venture to Lakkidi, the birthplace of the legendary Sri. Kunjan Nambiar, who pioneered the mesmerizing Ottanthullal dance form. Witness a captivating demonstration of this traditional satirical art form, immersing yourself in the masterful storytelling and graceful movements that define Ottan thullal.
Prepare to savor an exquisite Valluvanad Sadhya, a traditional feast, as we arrive at the banks of River Nila. Here, marvel at the skill and craftsmanship of the Panan community as they showcase their artistry in crafting the "Olakkuda," a handwoven umbrella made from Palmyra leaves. Continuing our journey, we reach the captivating Nila-Gayatri Sangamam, the confluence of two rivers. Allow yourself to be transported through time as you sail aboard a traditional boat, immersing yourself in the serenity and storied history that surrounds you.

Booking and Cancellation Policy
A deposit of 20% per person is required to confirm your booking. The remainder must be paid 30 days prior to arrival.
Clients are suggested to be insured to cover the costs of medical emergencies/ expenses incurred due to weather conditions, prevailing road conditions, political situations, natural calamities, change in flight schedule, mechanical malfunction, or any such unanticipated events or acts of God.
Cancellation by Traveller
In order to cancel your participation on the trip, you must provide written notification of your cancellation by email to palakkadkitchenstore@gmail.com . The date of your cancellation is the date on which we receive such notification. If you cancel your participation in the trip, the cancellation fees listed below will apply:
You can cancel your reservation for free if done before 2 PM, 21 days prior to your arrival. However, if you cancel your reservation within 21 days of your arrival, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged for the entire duration of your trip. Additionally, if you cancel within 14 days of your arrival, a 100% cancellation fee will be applied for the entire length of your trip.
If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced or miss any features thereon, no refunds for unused services will be made.
